A dark, concentrated, full bodied wine opening with aromas of red berries, curing tobacco, and sweet herbs.  The rich, round tannins highlight the flavors of black currants, green peppercorn, coconut, and touches of spicy clove.  Anyone got any purple asparagus to grill with some fresh salmon?
