2020 Petit Verdot
94 Points Gold Medal from BTI/Tastings.com
Garnet black color. Aromas and flavors of grilled sage, dried violets and lilac, plum, blueberry, cherry sauce, and cedar and leather with a round, lively, bone-dry medium body and a warming, charming, medium-length finish that shows accents of potpourri, red plum and anise, cherry and pink peppercorn, and aged balsamic with cherry. Rarely seen as a single varietal, this expression shows the rich floral, savory, and purple fruit tones that are great in a blend and more than good enough to be enjoyed independently.

There's so little Petit Verdot planted in Oregon, I'm always happily surprised to find one. Especially one with aromas of blackberries and burgers cooking over a wood-fired grill. The complex flavors of this medium-bodied wine run the range from black cherries to orange-pekoe tea to spicy cloves. It offers gentle acidity, with silky tannins.~~ Michael Alberty
Gold 90 Points - Oregon Wine Awards
A medium bodied, elegant, dark hued Petit just bursting out of the glass with perfumy aromas of violets, rose petals, and lilac, followed with softer flavors of blue fruits, Rainer cherries, and touches of spicy clove. Fantastic with wild boar and aged gouda.
